Volunteering Opportunities

All Stars for Autism is a Joondalup based charity that enriches the lives of autistic children and their families. Like many charities we rely heavily on our wonderful volunteers, who help keep our programs low cost and support everything we do – we couldn’t do it without them. Thank you!

If you’d like to get involved, we’d love to hear from you! We currently have 6 social programs running and we continue to grow to meet the demand from the Autism community. We’re always looking for people to help out – whether you want to help us cut up and hand out fruit, support our children in their groups, or have another skill you think would be beneficial – please get in touch!

Our All Stars community has become a family and you will be welcomed and appreciated by many! Don’t worry if you can’t commit regularly – we’d love to see you any time. Perhaps our one-off school holiday events might be up your alley? Or you might be an amazing artist or crafter, willing to teach our kids, or make some resources for them to use. As this is a whole family club, our community has people from all walks of life – Grandparents are always there, so don’t let age stop you! Our best volunteers are our Grandmas and Nanas! The kids (and parents!) adore them.

Anyone can become a volunteer and we will help you with the paperwork to get your approval so you’re ready to go! Come join our family and help our community grow, knowing you’re an essential part of making lives better for a fantastic group of people.

For students studying occupational therapy, psychology, social work, education or speech pathology, and Certificate III or Certificate IV in Disability, this is a great opportunity to get some practical experience working with autistic people and their families. Minimum age for volunteers is 16 years old.

If you are interested in becoming part of team All Stars say hello via the contact form below. We’d love to hear from you!
