Yesterday was a very special day for All Stars for Autism. Our autistic children got to practice yoga with a bunch of baby chickens, bunnies, goats, guinea pigs and a pony called Cracker Jack!

The Only Club for Me
We had two main goals when we set up All Stars Kids Club. The first was to create a space for our kids, where they could have fun in a relaxed setting, with a bunch of kids who shared their journey. The second was to create a space for parents, where they could have fun in a relaxed setting, with a bunch of parents who shared their journey.
The Anxiety Buster
Anxiety is hard, seeing anxiety in your child is even harder. All we want to do is take their pain away. I have tried so many different strategies to reduce anxiety in both of my kids.

Sensory Diets, nothing with word diet can ever be a good thing, right? I propose a new name, perhaps sensory schedule, sensory slots, sensory seconds. Catchier and sounds less depriving right?
